Abstract
A discussion of a paper with the aforementioned title by R.J. Frosh, published in this journal (Volume 96, Number 3, May-June 1999), is presented. The discussion brings up two questions. The first considers the appropriateness of the recommended equation for a parking garage incorporating epoxy-coated reinforcement. The second question is in regards to the use of reinforcement spacing rather than bar size to control cracking. Discussion is followed by closure from the authors.
