Multi‐scale structure engineering of covalent organic framework for electrochemical charge storage
Source abstract
Abstract
Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) emerged as burgeoning crystalline porous copolymers which feature programmable topological architecture, pre-designable periodic skeleton, well-defined micro-/meso-pores, and customizable electroactive site, are potentially promising candidates for electrode materials toward high-performance electrochemical energy storage. The insightful and fundamental understanding on the principles in of COFs from the aspects of molecular scale, polygon-skeleton scale, crystal-nanostructure scale, and composite-microstructure scale, guide their optimal overall electrochemical performance in terms of structure durability, redox activity, electrical conductivity, and charge storage.
