The Peculiarities of Relaxational Processes in Active Cellulose Fillers for Electrorheological Media
Source abstract
Abstract
The peculiar features of relaxation processes in active cellulose fillers are elucidated using the dipole relaxation method, the measurements being made in a frequency range from 10 to 103 Hz at temperatures from -100 to + 100C. A hypothetical model of structural changes in a cellulose matrix due to the introduction of ionogenic acidic groups is proposed. A possibility is shown of controlling polarization processes in such structures by applying electric fields of variable strength at room temperature.
