Effect of Substrate on the Properties of Polymer Alloys and Blends
Source abstract
Abstract
Abstract The thermodynamic aspects of the influence of the solid surface on the properties and adhesion of polymer blends and alloys are discussed. It is shown that under the influence of the surface the properties and composition of the interphase may be changed. The effects are explained by the influence of the surface on the phase equilibrium in compatible and incompatible blends.
