Partially Wrapped Ti 3 C 2 Nanosheets Over Pillar Layered Co(Btc)(Dabco)MOF as Electrode Material for Integrated Energy Storage and Real‐Time Monitoring of Basic Hand Movements
Source abstract
Abstract
ABSTRACT In this work, we report a hybrid electrode in which a pillar‐layered Co(btc)(dabco)MOF is partially wrapped by Ti 3 C 2 nanosheets to form a Ti 3 C 2 @Co(btc)(dabco)MOF composite via a facile 14 h in situ solvothermal synthesis. Strong interfacial interactions, including H‐bonding between the dabco N atoms and Ti 3 C 2 ─OH terminations, and mechanical anchoring via the crest–trough rod morphology increases the MXene interlayer spacing and ensures intimate electrical contact. Ti 3 C 2 @Co(btc)(dabco)MOF delivers a high specific capacitance of 632 F g −1 at 5 mA cm −2 , arising from the synergistic pseudocapacitance of Co redox centers and Ti‐based surface redox, combined with electric double‐layer charging. An asymmetric device using Ti 3 C 2 @Co(btc)(dabco)MOF and activated carbon operating stably between 0 and 1.2 V, exhibits a specific capacitance of 196 F g −1 at 0.6 mA cm −2 , and retains 100% capacitance after 10 000 cycles. A symmetric ammonium‐ion supercapacitor (AISC) (Ti 3 C 2 @Co(btc)(dabco)MOF//Ti 3 C 2 ) delivers up to 118.8 F g −1 and a maximum energy density of 28 Wh kg −1 at 382 W kg −1 , while retaining 93.3% of its initial capacitance after 10 000 cycles. Finally, the AISC device is exploited as a flexible, self‐powered pressure sensor capable of detecting touch, finger, wrist bending, and wrist pulse waveforms.
