Magnetic Materials: Intrinsic Van Der Waals Magnetic Materials from Bulk to the 2D Limit: New Frontiers of Spintronics (Adv. Mater. 27/2019)
Source abstract
Abstract
2D van der Waals (vdW) magnets, which present intrinsic ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic ground states down to atomic-layer thicknesses, have recently become focused members in the large family of 2D materials. In article number 1900065, Shuangchen Ruan, Yu-Jia Zeng, and Hui Li, review recent state-of-the-art characterization and tuning of the magnetic properties of various 2D vdW magnets and discuss perspectives in the fields of spintronics.
