KCuCeTe4: A New Intergrowth Rare Earth Telluride with an Incommensurate Superstructure Associated with a Distorted Square Net of Tellurium
Source abstract
Abstract
The quaternary compound KCuCeTe4 has an ordered intergrowth structure made of KCuTe and CeTe3 layers. The CeTe3 layers have square nets of tellurium atoms which are structurally distorted to give rise to an incommensurate superstructure.
